Casement & Picture Windows

Casement windows are hung vertically and hinged on one side. Their attractive exterior beveled frame creates a beautiful modern look in any space. The smooth operating cranks allow them to be opened fully or partially for ventilation. When cranked out fully, they are easy to clean from the inside.

Continental Window & Glass has vinyl picture (“fixed”) windows that are available in standard and custom shapes, colors, and sizes. They can be used in combination with other windows. They are most typically paired with double-hung windows, casement windows, and patio doors. Because picture windows are fixed, they can be used in vertical or horizontal applications — for example, as horizontal transoms above patio or entry doors. These windows are the perfect choice for above cabinets or areas where opening or closing is a reach.

The casement and picture windows at Continental Window & Glass have:

• Single- or multi-unit casement configurations
• A full screen on all operating casement sections
• Bottom positioned levers that activate multiple locks for added security and a weather-tight seal
• Hardware that is rust-resistant
• Grids that are available in colonial- and prairie- style grids
